Terms & Conditions

1. Role of DoozyGo® as an Intermediary

  • Platform Service Only: DoozyGo® provides a technology platform that facilitates the discovery and booking of event services. DoozyGo® does not own, rent, manage, or control the inventory, decoration materials, or logistics used in the events.
  • Independent Contractors: All Vendors listed on the Platform are independent third-party contractors and are NOT employees, agents, or partners of DoozyGo®.

2. Booking & Payment Terms

  • Confirmation: A booking is considered legally confirmed ONLY upon receipt of 100% full payment by DoozyGo® via our approved payment gateways. No inventory or Vendor slots will be reserved without full payment.
  • Price Volatility: Prices listed on our platform are set in coordination with Vendors and are subject to change without prior notice. However, once a booking is fully paid, the price for that specific booking is locked.
  • Out-of-Station Charges: Standard pricing applies strictly within Mumbai city limits. Additional transport, logistics, and labour charges levied by Vendors for locations outside Mumbai city limits must be paid by the Client prior to booking confirmation.

3. Cancellation, Refund & Rescheduling Policy

  • 7+ days before the event: 100% Refund, subject to a deduction of actual payment-gateway/processing fees.
  • 3 to 7 days before the event: 50% Refund, subject to a deduction of actual payment-gateway/processing fees.
  • Less than 3 days (72 hours) before the event: No Refund. The amount can be adjusted for future bookings.
  • Rescheduling: Rescheduling is free of cost if requested at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled event time, subject strictly to the assigned Vendor's availability. If the original Vendor is unavailable, DoozyGo® will attempt to re-assign another Vendor, but cannot guarantee fulfilment.
  • Late Rescheduling: Any rescheduling request made less than 48 hours before the event will incur a re-convenience fee of 20% of the total booking value to compensate the Vendor for held inventory.

4. Client Venue Obligations & Setup Requirements

  • Access: Complete, uninterrupted access to the venue must be provided to the assigned Vendor team at least 2 hours prior to the event start time.
  • Infrastructure: Adequate physical space and a continuous, safe power supply must be made available at the venue by the Client.
  • Venue Restrictions: DoozyGo® and its Vendors shall not be held liable for any delays, cancellations, or modifications caused by venue-related restrictions, management policies, or society rules. Any entry/vendor fees levied by the venue are to be borne entirely by the Client.

5. Service Delivery, Quality & Variations

  • Material Variations: Event decoration is a creative process executed by independent Vendors. Minor variations in colour shades, balloon sizes, or specific items may occur based on seasonal and market availability. Vendors reserve the right to substitute items with alternatives of equal or higher value.
  • Custom Requests: Any custom or bespoke decoration requests must be submitted and confirmed by DoozyGo® in writing (via Email or WhatsApp) prior to payment. Verbal commitments by Vendors or platform representatives will not be honoured.

6. Absolute Limitation of Liability

  • Vendor Acts and Omissions: DoozyGo® is not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, or negligence of any third-party Vendor, or for any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages or expenses resulting therefrom.
  • Service Deficiencies: Any disputes regarding the quality, timing, or execution of the setup must be taken up directly with the Vendor. DoozyGo® will act as a mediator to resolve disputes but does not assume liability for the Vendor's performance.
  • Maximum Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DoozyGo®'s total cumulative liability for any platform-related failure or claim shall not exceed the exact convenience/service fee retained by DoozyGo® (excluding the amount passed on to the Vendor) or the total amount paid by the Client for that specific booking, whichever is lower.
  • Force Majeure: DoozyGo® and its Vendors shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, government lockdowns, strikes, riots, or severe weather conditions. In such cases, a credit note may be issued at the platform's discretion.

7. Intellectual Property & Marketing

  • Media Rights: DoozyGo® and the assigned Vendor reserve the right to take photographs and videos of the setup and event decor. These materials may be used for marketing, social media, portfolio, and promotional purposes.
  • Opt-Out: If the Client wishes to opt out of this, they must explicitly notify DoozyGo® in writing prior to the commencement of the event.
